History of BCJFC

Broadheath Central Football Club is based in Broadheath, Altrincham. The club is a fully Registered Charity (No 1106185)

The club currently has a membership of 650 + boys and girls and adults with the aim to grow this number year on year

Currently the largest club in the Timperley & District Junior Football League with in excess of 50 teams and one of the most successful clubs in Trafford

In 2002, the club was awarded the prestigious FA Charter Standard Development Club status. The Club prides itself on being at the forefront of good standards of coaching and management

In 2004 it was awarded the FA Community Club status, one of only 4% of clubs nationally at the time to be awarded this status.

The club prides itself on these awards and on its commitment to professional standards. It firmly believes in providing young people with the opportunity to have fun in safe friendly surroundings and to understand the principles of fair play and teamwork. The Club helps all children develop an awareness of the game whilst learning both football and life skills. Through our determination to reach all our Community with local schools the club arranges regular football festivals for boys and girls.

The development of the club over the last 15 years has also seen the a number of boys taken up by the recognized Professional Football Academies including Manchester United, Manchester City, Bury, Burnley and Rochdale.
